I laughed out loud when I saw this photo of Rocky during my engagmenet session yesterday. I’ll post more soon, but keep on laughin’

Welcome to KMOPHOTO! My name is Kelly and I am a photographer. I think I have the best job in the world. I get to work with different people on one of the most important days of their life. DANG, is that exciting! My style is such a mix that I really try not to pin myself to one. My style on your day is to do one thing: Tell YOUR story the way you invisioned it. That sounds pretty easy, huh? There are key photos that I take at every wedding: uh hemm, a pretty head shot, a pretty group photo, and a few family photos, but beyond that the story is ALL YOURS! Do you have a wedding party that is just over the top and worried about who will be able to capture them? Do you have one LONG wedding day and wonder who will be there to record it? Lets chat!

I love Indian weddings. There are so many amazing traditions, color, and emotion to capture, but there is one that is absolutely hilarius and happens at just about every one of the weddings -

In the Indian traidition the couple is fed something sweet and they are supposed to feed each other. Sweets are a HUGE part of an indian wedding, but three hours into the ceremonies the couple is hungry. Well, in this photo Puja is looking for direction and Pradeep just sees food. He devours the sweetness like a doughnut hole. Then when it comes to his turn to share…… Everyone has a good laugh!
More to come from this amazing wedding, but I was laughing on Sunday when I saw this and today when I was looking through all of the photos!
Thanks,
KMO
These two were such a blast to work with and the weather was so pleasant. OK, maybe a little wind, but we will take it! Have fun back in Boston and I can’t wait for the wedding next year!

Thanks,

we had a gorgeous day and the story was so much fun to tell. Congrats you two!

After a week of storms this weekend turned out to be a perfect day for an outdoor wedding ceremony at the beautiful Milwaukee lake front at a home designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. You can read a short bio on him at wikipedia.
Ceremony – Villa Terrace Decorative Arts
Reception – Lakefront Brewery

Kim getting her hair and makeup done. This is a reflection from one of the compacts that were open ![]()

Kim getting out of the elevator. A reflection from the top of the elevator and spun 270 degrees.

The dress hung in the bathroom overlooking lake michgan in this beautiful museum

a detail of getting ready – i love the look on the flower girls face.

This is the scene for the ceremony – it looked like it was right out of a storybook

I LOVED this door frame. I used it as much as possible. These two were awesome and carried the actual rings to the best man.

Did I mention that I loved this dor frame! Kim was all smiles!

A different view of the Villa Terrace during the cermony

Another view of the ceremony through the door of the museum….

John and his lean-in-and-give-me-a-kiss kiss!

A SWEET EXIT WITH NONE OTHER THAN MY FAVORITE DOOR FRAME!

Some friends going goo-goo over their SWEET RING!

A quick headshot of the superfine Kim – look at those EYES!

John showing his stuff to the camera
OK I had to totally get in close for this. Thanks for being a sport John!

I just could not get enough of this skyline and the perfect picturesque day!

A different view of the same shot.. with a little flare..

A scene setter of the Villa Terrace. Did I mention FAB! Oh, and Kim+John are in it too
Do any of you have family that take random pics of stuff without people in them? My dad was SO like that. We have tons of pics of random stuff with no people in it to give you a sense of time/relevance. Kim and John in their wedding attire give a good idea of when this photo was taken!

Glass of champagne anyone? The cork took off so fast it landed back in the estate…shhh!

A toast to Kim and John.

“Check it out, I’m married”

The other half of that impromptu toast.

The walk into the brewery for the reception

Kim made 250 cookies for the wedding. Yes, she MADE them. If people didn’t take or eat their cookies tisk, tisk….

The toast…

Kim and John giving a little speach with this freakin’ sweet purple background.. I loved it.

Just a MOment….

The flower girls dancing it up…

More dancing…

Uh hem – more dancing….

This little guy is my protoche! He followed me around all night taking pics of the same stuff! He was a lot of fun and I hope his stuff turned out just as sweet!

John’s dad tearin’ it up!

The impromptu first dance..

The impromptu first dance..

The impromptu first dance..

The impromptu first dance..

The man who introduced Kim to John… consequently a very fun dancer…
